Who is the Search & Rescue Unit?

We provide search, rescue, and humanitarian support in Malta and beyond!

The Search & Rescue Unit – Maltese Association of the Order of Malta is a voluntary emergency response team supporting missing person searches, disaster response, public safety operations, and community outreach. Our unit includes trained rescuers, medics, drone pilots, rope access technicians, and specialist canine teams for area search, tracking, and human remains detection, working alongside local authorities and emergency services.
