Who we are
Prepared to serve
The Search & Rescue Unit โ Maltese Association of the Order of Malta is a voluntary emergency response team dedicated to supporting search, rescue, and humanitarian operations across Malta and abroad. The unit brings together trained rescuers, medics, drone pilots, rope access technicians, and specialist canine teams capable of area search, tracking, and human remains detection. Operating under the values and traditions of the Order of Malta, the team works closely with local authorities and other emergency services to assist in missing person searches, disaster response, public safety operations, and community outreach initiatives.
